Not a great question to post in the Forum, due to the obvious fact that it implies you want to hack someones account. A few things you can take into account:

1. If you are using webcam, IM with a buddy, IMVironments or file transfers, you can start a dos prompt (NT/2000/XP: Start>Run>cmd | 9x/ME: Start>Run>command.com) Type netstat at the prompt.

2. An IP address is not something hard to obtain, and will not get you anywhere. In fact the majority of users have dynamic IP's that change from day to day.

3. If you believe you are being cyberstalked or harrassed in chat/messenger you need to do one or all of the following - report the offender to abuse@yahoo.com ; contact the local authorities; and visit www.wiredpatrol.org for more information and help.

If you do manage to obtain an IP, you can run an IP WHOIS at a site such as http://www.samspade.org which will give you the address of his internet service provider (ISP). This will then allow you to send complaints directly to the ISP's listed Abuse Department.

You can also fill out the Geocities Feedback Form (http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/geo/cgi_abuse) to request the removal of the slanderous site, if you have not done so yet.
