Hi, I changed my aim password and forgot the password (didnt save it locally or even write it down). Anyways, I am trying to find a new screen name and when I type in screen names into AIM it gives me the following errors:
1.) "The screen name or password you entered is not valid."
2.) "The password you entered is not valid.
Note: If you have a stored password and have recently changed it, you will need to re-enter it on the Sign On screen."
3.) "Suspended account"
I would assume that the first one (1) means that no one currently uses the screen name and should be available, the second response means the account is active and the third one is no longer usuable (try typing "Tommy" or "ABA" in with any password).
Now, when I goto
www.aim.com and try to register a screen name that received the first response, it tells me that it is already taken. Anyone know a better way of registering screen names? Does Netscape.com still have a register AIM SN webpage?
