If I understand you correctly, you're asking if Yahoo will ever create a browser-based version of Yahoo! Messenger, right?
Yahoo did this YEARS ago. You can currently find the link by going to
http://messenger.yahoo.com/ then scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the link labeled "Launch Web Messenger."
