#1. I never said it didn't find it i said it failed them... meaning it didn't do what needed to be done-delete the file

#2 I didn't say everyone needs to know everything about IT

#3 Once an anti-virus has been allowed to run, it is possible for the system files to be compromised and there is no full proof way to find every virus and get rid of all of it's components. Some viruses are invisible to housecall and other online scanners and there is no full proof virus protection or virus remover that removes every single virus in existence. If that was the case then protecting a computer against hackers would be easy. It is SAFER to assume that the person & or program and the virus that infected you is very dangerous than it is to assume a scan or software program will protect you or ensure your protection. The fact of the matter is that some viruses cannot be removed and do more damage as time goes by. The longer you assume you are safe the more damage may possibly occur with certain viruses. Denying that fact would be ignorant.
