I think I'm finally free from that pesky pop-up. It's been a few weeks now, and I haven't seen it since. I also wonder if everyone here is also an AOL Beta tester? As soon as I unsubscribed to beta testing, seems the problem went away. Now if I can remember how I did it... I remember I searched the computer for the update number, (mine was 3881.7.19) and it found the EXE file, called c:\DocumentsAndSettings\AllUsers\ApplicationData\A OL\UserProfiles\AllUsers\SUDS\Persistant\5 and I deleted that, but I don't remember if that was before or after un-subscribing to AOL Beta. Hope that helps give you a clue anyway. Sorry I was so selfish not to share quicker, but when the problem was solved, I guess I was just so happy to get back to happy computer life, I forgot you all were still hanging. I would like to hear if anyone else is Beta, maybe that's the root of this whole problem, and maybe that's why AOL is so hush-hush, telling us to "just download it and shut-up, damnit!". Here I thought I was so 'special' to be picked for beta, but I'll never do it again. I'd rather wait for the GM issue after all the other sorry suckers get the crap with beta. Boy, for $26 a month, you'd think they'd at least buy us dinner before f-ing us!
