Hrmm... I've never seen anything "Subliminal" in movies, or TV. ... Technically, I wouldn't know because true Subliminal triggers the sub-concious, not concious mind. But, anyhow, No.

I've heard about this in movies though. According to my 8th Grade Science Teacher, the Movie theaters added subliminal messages all the time into movies. Heres how it worked: You finally go out and see that movie you've been wanting to see. So, you're sitting there, right, and all of a sudden, you -think- you saw some words flash on the screen. "Did I just see... No, it's my imagination." After a while, you see it a few times. Then, you feel thirsty all of a sudden. "Hey I think I'll go get a Drink!"

The Movie theaters blended in phrases such as "YOU ARE THIRSTY" and "YOU ARE HUNGRY" to get potential movie-watchers to buy drinks and snacks from their concession stands to make more money, untill the F.C.C. caught up on it, BAN. It was pretty effective while it lasted.

People even use Subliminal Messages for therapy, relaxation, to quit smoking, all sorts of things. Site: http://www.innertalk.com/
