AIM-based phishing scheme lures MySpace users

Security firm Websense has discovered a phishing attack that attempts to steal account information from MySpace users. A link is first sent to an AIM user which, if clicked, takes them to a fraudulent website designed to look exactly like the MySpace login page.

I have a dream... that someday, people will learn that they should never click on links without knowing the source. When you get a link in an IM, be suspicious. Do you know the sender personally? Ask them what the link is for, and verify that they actually meant to send you a link.

If you get a link from a stranger, just don't click it!
