Dumb question here...(as I am a Yahoo user)

I've added a friend on my Yahoo and they're on WLM. With Yahoo, you can go invisble, and still talk. Can also put your busy signal up and still receive/send out IM's. With MSN/WLM is it the same? Or once that busy signal goes up, no IM's are received/or able to be sent out?
