Is Extinction really that good? I've always been hesitant about seeing the Resident Evil movies because they get such horrible reviews. It also pains me when they take an awesome video game and turn it into a crappy film.
While I've never seen the Saw movies, they certainly look interesting. Again, looking at the reviews, it seems that the sequels get progressively worse. Oh well. Maybe I should just stop relying on metareview sites so much, hahah.

Oh noes. A
fourth one? And they use roman numerals?! Is it going to be like the final fantasy games, where eventually it will be "Saw XXXVVVI"?
In all seriousness, I really do love horror movies. They don't really scare me, but I enjoy watching them for their sense of twistedness and eerieness. A couple of weeks ago I rented the uncut edition of The Exorcist and it was
really good. I mainly like some of the older horror films, as a lot of the newer ones are cheap, generic and boring ("The Grudge" is an example of a movie that was a complete waste of time for me). Nonetheless, there are still some good ones coming out.
