Beilve me patndoris, I have seen lot of sick people like that, this is not the first time, therefore we have to put a boundary for them,,,,I was polit with him , when I replied to him first.
Ask him why would he have said what he had said at first place ???? could not he have suggested what he had suggested without saying :

Why didn't you(patndoris) say that ? why your replies were with all respect and helpful manner ? This gives you indicator of the characteristic of a person.
