For the longest time, I thought that googlemaps was somewhat live too...I had no idea how they had cameras EVERYWHERE. But eventually, I learned how they did it.
I use streetview all the time- it helps me scope out a new business or restaurant I'm going to so I know what it looks like and then neighborhood of houses or apartment complexes that I'm looking to rent.
