DeadAIM + Startup

Under the Startup tab of the System Configuration Utility [Start->Run...->"msconfig"], DeadAIM is on the list with the command:
rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files\AIM\\DeadAIM.com",ExportedCheckODLs

Would anybody know if I can safely remove DeadAIM from the startup list? (i.e. After I remove it, if I wish to run DeadAIM again, all I do is run AIM and DeadAIM--or the DeadAIM.ocm component--would start backup automatically for the session yet will not be activated on rebooting) This is more of a curiosity than a practicality because I use DeadAIM often. (Also, I talk about DeadAIM.ocm as if it's a program--and it's not--because I don't know how else to refer to it)

I don't think I explained my question very well, and if you don't understand, I can try to clarify. If noone can answer, it doesn't matter too much.

Side question: What does subscribing to topics do?

NM... I did what everybody says to do, and I searched through the forums and answered my question. [It makes it so you receive e-mails when a reply is made, for those of you who don't know]
