i tried installing deadaim on my old laptop (win95), but when after installing it, I try to run aim and get error message "Module C:\PROGRAM FILES\...deadaim.ocm failed due to error 1157. It is required to run AOL Instant Messenger."
AIM works when I uninstall it, and I know the version of deadaim also works becasue I use it on my other computer (winXP). both aim and deadaim are older versions that are supposed to run with win95.
i tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but nothing works. any ideas on how to fix this, short of not using deadaim at all?
