Buddy Icon
I made use of the AIM feature allowing me to make my own buddy icon, but I have a problem. Not everyone can see it. I know on AIM 5.1 they have to change there security setting and add me to their buddy list before they can see it, but do AOL users and people with older versions have this same setting? I asked one AOL user, they couldn't find the setting to view unofficial icons. Just wondering - and is there anyway to make my icon official, or make their computer think it is?
thanks - Bryan |

Has anyone tried to figure out a way to make the their custom icons "official"? If someone tries hard enough or has the brains I'm sure they could figure it out, maybe.
Do the official icons have some sort of special coding? There has to be something that makes them different from the custom icons, but what is it? |
