Talk feature for a mac

I have a Mac running os X and I am using the latest version of AIM. I am just curious why it does not support the talk feature. Does anyone know how to get the talk feature to work on a Mac? I tried downloading an older version that I think has the talk feature for a mac but when I tried to run it I got an error message telling me that it was "unable to register the components." Can anyone help with this? Tbanks

Send a message via AIM to Akamai Send a message via MSN to Akamai Send a message via Yahoo to Akamai
From the menu bar, AIM>Preferences>Click on the IM icon then select what you want in Speech. Do the same form the Chat icon. Save and you should be good to go.
