I have the newest version of AIM (5.2.3277), and everytime I change the formatting in a message, profile or away (like bold a few words or change the color), everything after that changes the font back to times new roman...it looks normal until you send the message or look at the away or profile...Help!
I have a theory that AIM is attempting to thwart the efforts of individuals who exploit the binary characters to create font resource error messages. People use these in an attempt to punt users from a chat and take it over or just to be annoying. However since AIM is a free service they are in no rush to have this all worked out in a timely manner.
If you want the color, font, etc. to stay the same every time you IM someone then go to preferences, then go to font. after that choose permanentaly what font, color, and style you want.
