How do i delete Default AIM away messages

I'd like to get rid of the Default Away Message and Playing Games messages on AIM. I remember you could by doing some trick. Maybe you can't anymore? I'm currently using AIM 5.0. If someone knows how, please post a reply. thanks!

yeah there's a simple way to do it, if you're talking about what i think you are. go to your preferences and then go to "away message" on the menu to the left. it gives you the option of being able to remove the away messages.

I think you have to update aim. Cuz the new aim 5.2 allows you to delete all away messages. I cant remember if the old version does.

Hi,
I was also wondering if someone could help me out with this please? I have AIM version 5.2.3292 and I can't seem to delete my default away messages. I've done it before by using a trick I found on a site that I can't find right now, and I can't remember how I did it before. Can someone help? Thanks so much.
