I am currently running AIM 5.1.3036 and I'm experiencing this exact problem under the exact same circumstances. I am using a college internet connection and the only thing that appears to be disrupted is AIM. It signs off at random and seems to do so most often when another program requiring an outward connection is running (Outlook, uTorrent, etc.). Is there any reason that this would be happening? It only started within the last month- prior to that I had no problems whatsoever.

I followed the instructions and used this patcher to raise the limit to 100:
www.LvlLord.de - Tipps, Tricks & Utilities - Downloads

I still have a problem, however.

possible solution

I even tried AOL and I called them too. Its not AIM or AOL its a connection problem with my router. That is the only logical answer, so when I get a new router ill let you know if it works.
