Colors changing the hex codes

hi. i know people keep asking how to change the colors on aim so that you have more colors so you can define your custom colors. i read an old forum by amy saying that you can use a hex code by opening your saved buddy list in wordpad and changing the font color and backround color codes. i tryed the site that was given and it said that it was no longer there. does anyone know how to get these hex codes?

when you open it in wordpad, look for this:

IM {
font {
windowColor #ffffff
textColor #0000ff

the "ffffff" and "0000ff" will probably be different
just edit those two values with different hex values, and load the list in AIM

^^that's what it says. i think i may need to change window color and text color..do you know what codes to insert?

Sara, I've created a webpage for you that lists a lot of hex codes. It's quite big though, because it has so much data on it. It might take a good while to load.

When it's finally loaded, don't forget to scroll to the right. The page is very wide.

Look at those two lines:

windowColor #FFFFFF
textColor #000000

If you want to change the colors, you can replace the values of 'windowColor' and 'textColor'.

For example, if you want blue (#0000FF) text, you put:

textColor #0000FF

You can only define one color per setting.
