Weird link pops up in profile?

This has happened to some of my friends, and now me....a link shows up in your profile that says ...
"whoaaa... look what i found, click here"
then it directs you to a porn site or something....everytime i log on it shows up in my profile. Even after I get rid of it.

I think i got it from clicking on somebody else's (when it was in thier profile).

But how do I get rid of it for good? I change my profile...but when i log back on, there it is again.

Please email me or IM me, thanx

mmm why dont u try first deleting cookies and temporary internet files???

So, what am I not supposed to have an opinion?
Should I keep quiet just because I'm a woman?
Call me a bitch cause I speak what's on my mind

Its a virus that downloads itself as soon as you visit that site, even if you click no on the security prompt. You might also have problems where aim will send messages without you telling it too. For instance my friends aim sends this to me when i start a convo with him, "look at this, www.urlofsite.com, wierd...." Try uninstalling aim, this might help. Then try a virus scan if that doesnt work.

Your buddy list is stored on AOL's servers. You can safely uninstall and reinstall without losing your buddy list.

To be safe though, I suggest that you backup your buddy list periodically. Just go to the My AIM menu on your Buddy List, then select Save Buddy List...

This will protect you in case your list is ever damaged or lost by AOL. A rare event, but it happens.

The same thing has happened to me!! I have uninstalled an reinstalled AIM, but it still keeps coming back. I have no idea what to do. I don't want all my friends to have the same thing happen to them. It seems like the only thing I can do is get a new screen name. If anyone has any suggestions, please help!!

Okay, my brother found out how to fix it! Just go to http://talkstocks.net/disclaimer.htm and follow the instructions.
