When you connect the DV-cam to pc via firewire, does windows detect it? (Supposed to say new device DV-Cam or something similar)
If not you might try install the USB drivers: ftp://ftp.ita.sel.sony.com/ccpg/dvimag/USBDRVEN.EXE Once cam is detected there shouldnt be more to it then just select it as default video device in AIM. My cam works with both USB and Firewire without any more config then that usb driver. I have a sony trv 33 and windows XP. |
