I am almost positive LowerCrassBrat that DeadAIM works just fine. The versions are the same as the regular aim versions just different installs. Also, I updated the AIMLite website mentioned above with AIM 4.8 that has DeadAIM installed along with it at the same time. It is in beta because I haven't had time to test it to see if it works well. Anyone can feel free to test it and you can report a bug using the link on the site.
