Buddy List recovery tool 1.0

Today I made this simple program, mainly for the people that dump AOL and get their screen name suspended. This can recover the names on your Buddy List.

Requirements:
* You have (At least once) signed into AIM with this screen name
* Windows 98, 98SE, Me, 2000, XP.

For Win9X Users:
Navigate to c:\Windows\Application Data\Aim\<Screen Name Here>\ Open 'userinfo.bag' with notepad.

For Win2K/XP Users:
Navigate to c:\Documents and Settings\<Windows User Name>\Application Data\Aim\<Screen Name Here>\
(Note that 'Application Data' is a hidden folder, either enable the showing of hidden folders (Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> 'Show hidden folders and files'), or type it in the Address Bar)

Open 'userinfo.bag' with notepad.

Now Download AIM List Recovery v1.0.

Open the program and paste the contents from the userinfo.bag file into the top text box. Press 'Convert to List". You should see a list a screen names being populated in the lower text box. Modify and Delete the ones you want.

Now click 'Save...', it will be saved in AOL *.BLT format, then simply load it into AIM.

Bugs:
* This is NOT 100% accurate, you will get some weird characters added to the ends of screen names, sorry.
* Anyone on your 'block list' will NOT be blocked, they are added into the general contact list
* All users are added under /Buddies, any groups you made will be lost.

Nice one Dave. This is for the users like me who do not use AIM a lot. Thanks for that.

What it boils down to is: You need the userinfo.bag, without it, forget getting anything back.
