If you have a paid AOL account, you should be able to find that feature under 'My AIM' tool - there should be something like YourScreenName@aol.com (or check my/your E-mail) listed in there. No need to configure your alert to check for new messages.
Maybe someone else noticed this..
up until this afternoon whenever the mail alert pops up I right click on the AIM icon in the taskbar and click read mail and my aol email address is automatically there, I guess since my aim sn is the same name.
However, tonight when I got home after hours of not checking my mail I thought it was strange that there was no mail alert.
So I right clicked as usual in the taskbar and this time in the Read Mail bar it says Add new POP3 mailbox.
Somehow my email address which should be there by default is missing!
so I have 2 questions:
~ Did this happen to anyone else?
~ How do I add an aol address in the pop3 mailbox cause I can't figure it out.

the same goes for netscape accounts too.
thanks for the feeback,
well nothing seemed to work - maybe its a bug in the version of AIM I was using 5.5.3415 cause I reinstalled it and it still wouldnt show up in the My AIM window.
I just installed 5.2.3292 and its working fine so I'll be sticking with that for now.
5.5.3591 is the latest version. that might work too.
i noticed that everytime I veiwed my mail the amount of MB or whatever stayed the same (5) but thew amount I had in my folder went up each time I veiwed the page. Like the first time it would be I was using 2.5 MB of 5 and then a week later I was using 3.4 MB of 5 and this was without keeping any new emails. So it got to the point where I had the same emails when I was using 2.5 MB but now I was using 6.5 of 5 MB.. I dont get it. now wheni check my mail from the taskbar or from My Aim, it says my email adress, so I click on it and I can get to my messages but im not recieving any more emails because it says im over the limit.. which I think netscape made it so I was over the limit cause I didnt keep getting emails with attachments to add more MB to the 5 MB that I have.
