Add Icon next to name with res edit?

I was wondering, is it possible to add an icon next to screen names in any of the aim resource files? To be more specific, screen names normally dont have any icons next to them unless the user is away, mobile, or has a security certificate. I wanted to add an aim icon next to the users name similar to the way Gaim does- not a different icon for each individual, but the same icon for everyone. Is there any way I can do this with a resource editor? If so, does anyone know exactly where in the file to accomplish this? See in the picture below, that even if the aim user is not away, they still have the aim icon next to thier name. any help would be great, thanks!
