AIM url's default to open Explorer. how to change?

When I click on links in a AIM chat window they open using the Explorer browser.... How do I change AIM url's to open in a different browser than Explorer? I use Yahoo DSL browser and I want the AIM links to open in the Yahoo Browser..

I have Firefox set as my default browser and links open in that. Try making Yahoo DSL browser the default.

the yahoo browser is my defaukt browser.. how do I make my default again maybe I should go throught the steps again

I'm not aware of how to use Yahoo DSL browser but I do know this: If you set something other than IE your default browser and use IE for whatever reason IE automatically sets itself as your default browser again without asking you. So what you should do is go into the Yahoo DSL Browser and set it back as your default browser. It can probably be done in the settings...

Yes, Yahoo Browser says in the settings that it's the default browser but yet AIM still uses IE to open the links.. I'm hoping someone knows how to configure AIM itself to access the Yahoo Browser instead of IE..

Anyone know where or how to tweak AIM itself??

I have a mac so this may be different for you. But first make sure Yahoo is indeed set as your default browser. Then go to AIM --> Preferences --> Connection. It will say: AIM Server. type in the browser of your choice (i.e. Yahoo, Firefox, Safari) you may have to check under setting in your browser (YAHOO) for the specific Browser name. I chose Safari and I had to type in Safari (3.1.2) That should do it. If you are on a PC getting to the connection tab might be different but it will be under preferences or settings. I hope this helps!
