Buddy icon doesn't show and I want sound
I have AIM but am not an aol subscriber. I don't know if that is why but the people I im do not see my buddy icon (i do). Why?
Also, is it possible for the people I im to hear sound from me? Let me know. Thanks.

Your buddies my have the setting set to not display or accept buddy icons or sometimes i had friends that use AOL that can't see buddy icons. If all of your friends have AOL, then their permissions may be set to not display icons. Also, hover your mouse pointer over your friends screen name on you buddy list and check their capabilities.
And I don't understand your second question. Could you reword it?

Sometimes people may not see your buddy icon because they have it set only display official AOL icons but tell them to make it set like this and they should see your buddy icon.

For your sound question, the people you IM will only hear your outgoing sound if u are a paid AIM expression subscriber or an AOL member.
