AIM Virus
This thing pops up in my away message, or makes me go on away automatically: and it says

http://www.caption box .net....pif...

and ive went to the AIMFix site, and did everything that it says on the site, but its still not getting rid of it.

Would uninstalling AIM, fix it?

Yea uninstall then try deleting AIM and AIM 95 in the C:/Program Files and then checking for virus with virus scanner then spyware scan and reload it and see what happens...
