Can't add anyone to Buddy List

I recently registered a new screenname on AIM, and every time I try to add anyone to my buddy list, it goes away and I get the error message, "One or more of the additions or modifications to your Buddy List were not able to be saved."

What's going on here? I can sign on, other people can see me, and I can IM them, but I can't add anyone at all to my list. Does this sort of thing fix itself, or is my screenname doomed?

Dont worry about it..Itll come back in a few hours or so...THeir servers are down..

this happened to me this morning with my sn. its aggravating. its been more than 5 hours. i mean i definately can wait longer but its just going to be very disappointing if by tomorrow my list aint back up. thats not going to happen is it? BAHHHH!

I am having this exact problem right now. I made the screen name last night, and it wouldnt work all night. I decided to wait and see if it cleared itself up, but its the afternoon of the next day now, so I was curious if anyone else was having the problem and it was a server issue or if it was simply my screen name/computer.

Are these issues usually resolved quickly? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
