aim hacked -- email lookup?
I recently had my aim name hacked (it was an interesting name). Somehow the guy looked up my old email address, hacked that, and then had my password sent to it. He then signed on my name, and told me how he did it. I'd explain exactly how, but the last thing we need is a bunch of 12 year olds trying it to all their friends. But it basically comes down to this -- does anyone know how you can look up someone's email through their aim name?
I had never accessed that email address from this computer, nor have I even spoken of it (so there's no evidence of the email on this computer whatsoever). The email is not listed in any search engines. I'm 100% sure I was not hacked. Somehow they found out my email address by my aim. Now I know I can look up aim names from email addresses, but does anyone know how one can extract email addresses from aim? I know he did it this way, because he didn't hesitate to show me his collection of 3-4 letter aim names that he had hacked.
I'd just like to email him, expressing my great displeasure. And perhaps have something to report if necessary...
Thanks for your time.
