Cancelled Chat Request

A person requested a chat with me this morning, someone not currently on my Buddy List. At the same time as the request window came through I was clicking on something on the screen and, long story short, I managed to decline the request without seeing the screen name of the person.

Is there anywhere on my computer where the screen name of this mystery person would be recorded, perhaps as part of the AIM program? My machine has not been switched off (yet!), nor have I closed down AIM. Would it be saved dynamically somewhere in RAM that I can access?

unless you have a program that logs events in AIM, you're out of luck, sadly. even if you did have some kind of logging program installed, i'm not sure that something like that would be recorded in the logs, unless it was a VERY detailed logger.
