I don't know where this goes. But I 2 questions about AIM 5.9 & AIM Triton

AIM 5.9 - I try to IM but it just crashes. I don't have any of the programs installed that AIM had mentioned. I tried a different site to get the AIM download.. Mayb that effected it. Maybe if someone could give me a few different links to download AIM 5.9 for windows XP?

AIM Triton- It won't let me uninstall. It just says Don't Send/Send Error Report. Because AIM Triton sucks. No good fonts & its just stupid.

Why don't they put AIM 5.9 back up? I can't find anywhere to complain on their site so.. Yeah. I'm really frustrated.

So.. Yeah. Let me know answers. Please.

Go to aim.com and click download AIM 5.9 Now, then you can install it.

if you actually go to aim.com, there is no link for AIM 5.9, hence her question.

Kaitlyn0214 - how are you trying to uninstall Triton? From the Windows Control Panel, or from somewhere else? Completely exit out of AIM and then go to the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, then remove AIM.

as for older versions of AIM, I can't seem to find a link on the official AIM site for 5.9, and OldVersion only goes up to 5.5. (if you're willing to go back to version 5.5, you can get those versions from OldVersion.com) SoftPedia has a download for 5.9 here that you can try.

Actually yes there is cause i just went to it and it said click here to download AIM5.9

Heh...yes I did find a way, only in a almost "hidden" place. If you go to Win 2k/XP then it IS Triton. However, you go to Win 98/ME it's 5.9 Here is a link to the 5.9 to answer his original question http://www.aim.com/get_aim/win/other_win.adp?aolp=
