AIM doesn't give my wireless time to connect. help please

I am using the latest Triton Ad Hack. It works great with one annoying exception. When I boot my laptop in the morning, it takes a few seconds for the wireless network to connect. AIM loads at bootup and tries to connect while my wireless is still thinking and AIM fails to connect. I have to manually connect AIM every day. Is there someway to force AIM to wait until there is a valid network connection before it loads?

the only thing i would suggest is to go to AIM, click "preferences" or "account settings" and disable/uncheck anything along the lines of automatic start-up.

best of luck.

My laptop is Intel (HP ze5470us), but not sure about the built-in Broadcom 802.11 adapter.
