Retrieving IMs when returning from Away

On AIM 6.0, when I come BACK from being AWAY, I can't retrieve my IMs that were sent while I was AWAY.

When I click on "I'm back" (on my buddy list) my AWAY message just disappears and any IMs that were sent are not displayed.

While my AWAY message is up, and I hover over the button that says, "Hide IMs" and the message says that I can bring IMs back by double-clicking the AIM icon in the system tray.

Maybe I'm clicking on the wrong icon? Maybe I don't know what the system tray is (is't it the loweset bar across my monitor?). On that bar, I have the AIM Buddy List and the AWAY message icons. Double-clicking them only minimizes the buddy list OR presents my AWAY message.

Help.

Send a message via AIM to Jon8RFC
On the away window, do you not have a list on the left-hand side with buttons for each screen name that IMed you?
