AIMPro bizarre autoresponse

Beginning with this morning, anytime anyone within my company tries to send an IM to one certain user, they immediately see the following message: "Auto Response - Your contact is unable to join this IM session. This contact's company policy restricts connections to select approved companies, which you are not part of."

The user swears she hasn't changed any of the settings on her profile, and I'm the one-person IT department, and I haven't established any "company policy," so can anyone help this noob out so I can resolve this issue?

Any suggestions much appreciated!

A warning message appears when I log into AimPro

1. "Unable to access policy settings. Most secure policy settings are in effect."

However, I am now not able to make voice, video or share with other users.

2. The error when sharing files: You cannot start a files session with this contact. Your company policy restricts connections to select approved companies.

3. For multi media, video or voice, the error: Multimedia services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

These errors have occured for the past month. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall a number of times. Access is restricted when I am accessing via any connection to the internet. IM chat function still works.

Would appreciate any assistance you could provide. Anti virus settings have not changed since AimPro was previously working.

Is there a policy file or windows services which needs to be running? I have installed AimPro on another windows PC and all functions are working.

Has anyone else had this happen?
