Problem with AIM
Alright so my computer was just recently fixed because it wasn't working properly, but now it works pretty well. But i tried to download aim and it all worked until i tried to send an im. Everytime i do or i recieve one, it gives me the same long message. It keeps on saying something about copyright and confidentiality, well that looks like the title. And under that is just alot of random letters and signs, it sort of looks like a code you would use to put things on a website or something. Can someone please help me out?

And was the reason you had to have your computer fixed due to a hardware problem or did you have virus/malware issues you had to have resolved?

This link has several solutions to the problem you have. Please read through all the comments. I don't know if you are using XP or Vista but it will make a difference for how you go about the fix.
