Webcam Issues with AIM! HELP!
I have a Toshiba Portege M750-S7212 Tablet PC and the latest AIM messenger. I tried to video chat with a friend but it didn't work it either said one of us declined (when both of us actually accepted) or the invite session timed out??. I also have msn and my webcam works fine with msn but for some reason not on AIM.
any ideas??? |

I did a quick search and I didn't find any widespread problems with this, however, connection issues like this can possibly be a result of your (or your contact's) firewall blocking a request.
Can you and your contact please check to ensure AIM is completely allowed through your firewalls? If you connect via a router, you may also need to check to see that the necessary ports are open. You can also see here for more tips on using AIM and video. Let me know if this helps at all. -Doris- Microsoft MVP 2009 - Windows Live Messenger |
