Can't connect to AIM account via Adium or iChat

I use Adium as my IM application. Since about two weeks ago, I haven't been able to connect to my AIM account in Adium. Adium works fine with my GTalk and Facebook accounts. I also tried connecting to my AIM account in iChat and it didn't work. However, I downloaded the AIM client and I can connect fine using that.

I've already checked out the support board for Adium and tried troubleshooting a bit, but I think the problem might be with AIM servers. Under my AIM account settings, the login server is listed as "login.oscar.aol.com" and the port is 5190. I looked into those settings and they seem to be correct, so I'm really at a loss for what's going on or how I could fix the problem.

Is anyone else having this problem? Or maybe you had this problem and know how to fix it? Please help!

Have you tried changing the port (for example to 5191 or 5192)? If someone else on your network is using port 5190, your router may not be letting you connect on the same port. I especially have this issue when trying to connect to AIM with iChat when my sister is also on iChat on the same network.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just tried it and unfortunately it still doesn't work. :-( Oh well.
