Please do. It would be useful to know which clients you are using. Also, have you used the iPhone client?

Still having issues.

Currently, I am unable to have my screen name logged in at two different machines. If I do, the entire buddy list goes offline. Also, once I get the buddy list up and after some time, my entire buddy list will go offline and I have to sign off/on to get it to come back.

I use a variety of clients, but primarily I use Pidgin on my Windows 7 desktop and Windows Vista laptop. At work where I have a Mac, I use either Adium or iChat. For my iPhone, I use the app called Fring.

The clients that have been having the most issues (primarily not being able to get the buddy list at all) have been iChat and Fring for the iPhone. I also will periodically use the site Meebo - Connecting AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook, MySpace messengers when I am on a class computer, but that too hasnt been able to obtain my buddy list since these issues began.

I did get the free AIM app for the iphone and that seems to be fairly stable, but as soon as I try to log in at a second location, I get issues at whichever 2 clients are logged in. Doesn't seem to matter if its the same client or not.

I'm having the same problem, all buddies appear offline at both my home and work locations, whether I use AIM client, Aim Express or Trillian.

It started three days ago when using my AIM client, all my online buddies started simultaneously signing off and back on again a few times throughout the day (as if my connection had been briefly broken each time).

Then for the past two days they've all been permanently "offline", even though I know some are actually logged on.

I've tried the steps posted here:
AIM Help - Common Problems

And I've also tried saving and reloading my buddy list, logging off and back on, etc. No joy.

Any update?

(Edit: In my case I'm not logged in at multiple locations, just one at a time.)
