    THANK YOU!

Aim has reached its all-time low... First wildtangent adware, then bloated versions with experimental interfaces (at least they had themes!!), and then finally their latest version which completely ditched the themes and is extremely bland for such a large file size!

I was about to try to figure out a way around the forced upgrade but it looks like you did it first.

    I appreciate it man!

I just installed the latest AIM again to Video Chat and noticed that they do actually have themes... Nothing special though.

Your AIM with adhack/aimutation should be made portable for a nice lightweight, encrypted copy of aim to carry around. Everyone's USB device should have it

BTW do you know of any AIMutation add ons? Like the ability to type something and have it automatically replace what you typed with something else (like if you typed BRB it would send the message as Be Right Back)?

Don't really care much for the winamp plugin or w/e... Just wondering.

Here is a mirror for anyone who needs it: Aim.rar

*Note* The instructions do not mention anything about the file inside the Windows/System32 folder in the .rar --- for Windows 7 (and maybe Windows Vista too) you absolutely must copy that file into the AIM directory (not windows/system32 as you might've suspected). The install instructions say to run the .reg file first, but I always copy the AIM folder to Program Files first. In 64 bit Windows 7 or Windows Vista, there is a specific folder for 32 bit programs which is Program Files (x86). I believe that the registry file is assuming that you will be placing the AIM folder into just regular "Program Files", so that's what I do, and it works perfect.

Here is an amazing skin for AimMutation as well: pixelbud.zip

To install the skin just extract the folder and drag it into the AIM/skins folder. The Aimmutation menu is where you can enable skins and set yours to this one (pixelbuddy).

NOT posting a link to the instant idler since I scanned even the one I've had for years and it came up with infections --- could be false positives, but yeah I don't think you would want to take the chance nor do I think mediafire would even allow it.

I would love to get instant idle working with this copy of aim --- if anyone has any ideas, please post
