i like DAP WITHOUT the spyware but i m sure there are many more out there that can perform better than DAP

Get Right, its free of spyware, configurable and faster than DAP which I used prior to finding Get Right. Gozilla is a disease <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

No cos he is not aware of all the various apps n so wouldnt list them all. A poll should be complete not selective and limited to just 20% of the apps.

Well there you go...once again, another incredibly helpful post!!! what a selection...i usually don't tend to use download managers, to much hassle for me! <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> i just stick with the standard windows download, which is not necessarily a clever thing to do! but because i have such a fast internet connectoin (not trying to gloat), that if the download messed up, i'd just do it again <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Exactly! i think download managers are for people with slow internet connection like 56k. i got dsl and no point in downloading a software will speed up my download in a fast internet speed. a program to download is useless for me.
