Recover documents and files deleted

hi there....
i know this isnt the right forum to this post, i dindt know where to post it, so plz remove it to the right ...

as the subject says...i need to find out a way to recover files .txt, .xls, .doc., .jpg and others....also some favorite links
i used the command deltree c:/ y/q kind of...
and now i see that i need some deleted stuff...
how bad ha...
neeed some really help here ...

check in your recycle folder?

Try doing a system restore?

recycle its empty....i made a search in all hard drive but it failed....
all folder my documents its empty...and dont have my favorites links ŅS

So, what am I not supposed to have an opinion?

Recovering a deleted file that's not in the Recycle bin is no sure thing. Luckily, Windows doesn't actually erase the data until it reuses the disk space formerly occupied by the deleted file, so recovering the data is possible.

Try running Recovery Software like DTI Data's $25 Fast File Undelete, which operates without writing to the hard drive. Download the utility onto another computer, unzip the program file to a floppy disk, insert the floppy in the PC with the deleted file, and run the program. Download the demo (which requires registration and will retrieve only files smaller than 15KB), or visit the company's site to buy the full version. Good Luck!

mmm my files are bigger then that...also some pictures.....could be another software or another way???

ok i get into that link and i see whats that i need...its the fast file recovery....because i delete a directory right??

so if i install it in the same pc to the files to recover another hard disk drive as slave....and then use it as supossed to work the floppy disk could it be that i recover files biggers?????

Only the Registered version will recover large files, it doesn't matter where you install the software.

Here are some other links to File Recovery Software, some are free, some are trials. Pick one.

ok...ill pay for registration.....

some other guy told me that using norton utilities could recover also this files...could be possible also?? or its better this softwares??

also i need to ask and know if it matters that that pc its in use...could be there any chance to overwrite erased files if im using the pc??

Yes Norton has an great utility for this which is part of the Norton Protected Recycling Bin, but I believe it will only help you if you had it installed before you lost your files.
