"New" MSN released

MSN stated on its homepage late tonight that the new MSN was being released. A 80mb package containing a new MSN explorer, PhotoMail, PhotoShow, MSN Encarta Premium, Designer E-mail, Picture It! Express, and Picture It! Library has also been released. I dont know if all of this software is for subscribers only but I just thought I would tell everyone.

Seems that I get free Mcafee firewall plus and antivirus with my subscription. Should I be excited?(I've heard it sucks, thats why I was or am going to buy norton)

If any of you use MSN explorer they have totally redone the whole thing. New colors, a popup blocker, etc.
I cant tell you what everything new is right now because its 10 PM on Janurary 7 and the update is supposed to happen on January 8th and not all of the new pages seem to be uploaded because links are dead and such.

working on the new msn explorer is really cool, but arent these features just bieng copied. i mean not all of them, but most of them are in AOL for ages! both browsers have there bugs, but its just that i suggest AOL, its even more cheaper than MSN now. not to mention the webpages u can access only for AOL users.
About Mcafee its not bad, but Norton 2004 is much better and takes less resources.
Good Luck!

You suggest AOL?!?!? My friend got AOL for broadband and it required 3 diffrent AOL programs running in the background for it too work. My MSN requires nothing in the background and runs twice as fast. And who cares if MSN is copying AOL? It doesn't make a diffrence to me. I dont feel ashamed or anything. And stuped pages for AOL users only, pointless in my opinion. I used to have AOL when I was on a 56k and will never go back...ever....

MSN also released the new My MSN today (I think it was today). It's alot nicer now, and easier to customize. It's worth checking out.

Microsoft....taking the right path? HAHAHAHA.....it has happened about five times in history. (Windows 3.1, the Desktop concept, and using Win32 over the old DOS based crap, Halo, and whatever they do to get the revenues that they get) Anyhow...yeah I don't like it, nor is it stable. (No, I am not talking about Windows Me)

every one has his own opinion and i would still suggest AOL, i have used Aol before. To me i think the service is very good. Users can subscribe and pay 1 dollar up to May, then the fee will be 9.xx every month. I dont care about the web browser or anything i am talking about the good service. Quality that is
About the AOL pages well pointless to u ONLY i suppose. Try sticking the word MSN on ur forehead might help u feel better

DoS, I was upsessed with AOL for a time also but found out that AOL is a huge exploit. Any newbie could crash someone off AIM in a minute if they felt like it. I mean AOL used to be a great service in my opinion but then they went down hill. And that idiotic AOL trial CD, 2 of my friends have had free AOL for the past year and a half because the cd's come about the time the trial ends =) And also, AOL members get treated like gods compared too AIM members. There are progs out now that can let you auto boot, boot, suspend, etc. in chats if your an AOL member. Another exploit
