Dropload.com - Free Online Storage

Here is a nice little place for those who can't have a site set up and still want to share a few things.

DROPLOAD.COM

You just sign up and they will allow you up to 100 megs of storage and they will even email the person you want to have it. The only bad thing is after 4 days they will delete it.....And you can up load most anything just use common sense on what you up load to it.

And best of ALL it is Free! now how can you go wrong with that?

Enjoy

EDIT: Title changed. Please use DESCRIPTIVE titles.

if they delete stuff after only 4 days... that's how you can go wrong. some people dont necessarily check email every 4 days, so I guess you'd have to just reupload it. otherwise I guess its a pretty decent site, i'll have to check this out. although now with the new storage limits of email providers, this is less of an advantage

As I was going down the stair, I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today; I wish I wish he'd go away.

That site looks pretty good. I just can't think of any way that I would use it. I can send almost all my files via email or IM. And Tigerblade does have a point with the email storage thing.

Well, it says up to 100Megs EACH!!!, so that would be pretty useful for huge docs...Actually, not that huge, because the promissed 10M didnt work for me so far...It is not about email storage, is about message size. That is basically their point I think.

Wow... alot of sites like that. I never tried any of them because I had no use for them. I just use my External hard drive to store it and then bring it to my friends house. But for people that don't live near me that might be a useful site. I think i'll try it out soon. Thanks for the sites.

Thought that this also deserved to be mentioned. I just learned of another service similar to these. This one however works through the use of free program that runs along side your email client.

I've just tried that yousendit f0rbez, it seems excellent so far, i've managed to transfer video files which are far too large for email.

A brilliant recommendation!

Yeah martin, I love YouSendIt. I use that all the time when sending stuff to my friends. Much better than getting disconnects trying to send through aim. And they also don't have to suffer with my horrible 30kb/s upload. =[ Also, if I have one song that I want to send a bunch of friends, just upload once and give them all the link.

Is there a time limit on how long they keep the file on YouSendIt?
