Worst camping experience

Ok, so the other night I was packing up my stuff I needed to go camping with the scouts. After driving for a while, we would have to hike about a mile, so we had to bring those big backpacks.
Anyway, onto the real story:
The day after that(yesterday), I woke up at about 6:45 in the morning to take a shower, eat breakfast, an finish packing. When I got to my scout leader's house(we had another scout leader come too), the other scouts were there, and we packed some more food and other stuff we needed, then we loaded up the cars and left. It was about an hour-and-a-half drive to get to the trailhead, then we all put on our backpacks and started hiking. It was pretty sunny most of the hike, and it didn't start getting cloudy until we were near the top of the moutain. Oh yeah, we were in the Uintas(however you spell it), it's very cold there, and the ranger said there would no-doubt, probably be rain. But anyway, when we reached the lake, we walked alongside it looking for a place to camp. That's exactly when it started getting cloudy. We finally found a good spot across the lake to set up camp. When we started to put up the tents, I felt raindrops, and i'm sure everyone else felt raindrops, so we hurried to set up the tents. Soon it REALLY started pouring, and there wass thunder. Part of the thunder was like a huge *BOOM!*, like a cannon going off right next to us. We got in our tents, and moved in our backpacks with us. I had to be in a tent with a couple of other boys that I thought were usually kind of nice, but then I found out were actually real jerks, and they kept dissing me. Btw, these to kids were really good friends with each other, enough that it was actually kind of gross. They were also telling secrets to each other right in front of me, and then they were like getting on top of each other, and wrestled off and on. Actually, most of the time(while it was raining pretty hard outside), we were trying to wipe all of the puddles of water in the tent; because it was leaking in some parts. One of the boys; the one I thought was pretty cool; was constantly getting impatient with me, and kept whining "QUIT TOUCHING THE EDGES[of the tent]!" because the sides of the tent were dripping with water, or something like that. Finally, when we found a solution to stop puddles of water from gathering in the middle of our tent, we calmed down a little more and I ate my lunch. The two other boys kept dissing me and back-sassing at me, and got mad with each other a couple of times and kept wresteling. After a while the rain let up a bit and we could hear other kids outside our tent. We all came outside and got ready to fish on the side of the lake. After about 15 minutes, all of the scouts were fishing(including me) and a couple of people got snags; while 2 others caught one(one of them threw it back). My fishing pole sucked, it was my friends, and the bait kept coming off, and the line wouldn't let out when a casted and pressed the button-dealie. So I just gave up. The other kid that caught a fish, one of my other friends, kept it tied on a string and hooked the other end of the string to a log at the edge of the lake. After that, most of us were gathering up wood, mostly twigs, and putting them in a firepit we kind of made under the trees, so the rain couldn't put it out as easily. after trying about 10 of 2 different kinds of matched, we finally got a descent fire, and kept throwing wood on it. We got a pretty good fire. Btw, it was raining that whole time, not too heavy, but a constant medium-heaviness rain. My friend that caught the fish took the fish out of the water(it was tied to a string) gutted it, stabbed it on a stick, held it over the fire, and then put it on a rock and ate it.
We had been sitting by the fire for quite a while, and I was convincing my scout leader that we should leave(I kind of hated scout camping trips anyway, and I have a feeling he probably already know that somehow, too). Pretty soon, after raining for like four hours, pretty much all of the scouts were convincing the scout leader that we should leave. Pretty soon, for about 45 minutes we were packing up the tents, our stuff, and hiked the what-seemed-like-an HOUR hike. Oh yeah, we were all soaked and freezing, in case I didn't mention. When we reached the car, my fingers were so frozen I could barely move them to unbuckle my backpack. When we finally got our packs in the cars, and drove off. The scout leaders were very nice; they took us out to a fast-food place in a small town called Kamas(close to the Uintas) and bought us all birgers and fries. Man, that was good. We arrived to our hometown at about 9:20 P.M., and we all got dropped off at our houses with our packs.
Oh yeah, and it was a REALLY [u]beautiful[/b] lake, if I can find any good pictures of it, I'll post them. I actually already have found some, but their not as pretty as I remember.

I know this camping experience could have been WAY worse, but so far, it [u]has[/b] been my worst.
