Oprah Winfrey Gives Cars to Audience

oprah didnt pay for the cars, the car company donated them to the people in the audience, they gave a servey to who had a car and invited the people who didnt have a car to join the auidience that day

publicity stunt I guess.. I wish she had given me a car who realy needs one n cant afford it right now... or atleast she wuld hv given some kind of scholarship of same amount to needy and meritous students.. crap. rich ppl get richer n poor become poorer.

I couldn't believe how crazy some of the people in the audience were acting. I mean, if I won a car, I wouldn't be that excited. Sure, I would say Yeah and Oprah Rocks, but I wouldn't go up to someone and just randomly hug them just becuase I won a car.

...do you know how hard it is to get a car when you're poor anyway? Heck, when I was a senior in high school and had to walk for an hour in the extreme winters and early summers of Minnesota, I wanted a car...or at least a bus. Something, anything. Imagine if you were in a big city, it'd be even worse.

If someone walked up to you and handed you $18,000-$26,000 (the estimated price for the cars given out) wouldn't you do the same? I sure as hell would! If you didn't want the car, take it, sell it, keep the cash. Seriously...

wow..were to start with it all. First of all it think you make yourself who YOU are..there isnt any reason why people cant go out and get a job and get off the welfare that TAXPAYERS pay on. Some of them sit at home and have better and eat better then the average person. I wouldnt blame it on anyone but the one sitting on their butt.As for Her giving the cars away, I think its great that someone can give back, no matter what the capacity, pack of gum or other wise. She has all that money cause she is a savvy business women, she started at a mere news caster, a black newscaster that was told she was going NO WHERE with herself, I would say she showed them all wrong. She was the one that paid for the cars, NOT THE CAR COMPANY and it was started from people writing in saying that had friends/family that where in dire need of a car, and she just turned it all around and gave to all. I find her to be a sincere person, Im sure if that was you at the show that day you wouldnt be sitting there saying some of the stuff posted in here. What a shame. I am not rich in money but wealthy in heart and I give all I can to everyone around me.
