*blank stare* ...I'm not following the first part of that message. If it's directed to the "poor" comment, sometimes it isn't a matter of doing something, it's a matter of the hand your delt and amazingly coming out even. You can get as many jobs as you can, but it comes down to only so many hours in a day and without proper education or a need for that certain skill, you're crap out of luck anyway with poor jobs that pay nada. Heavens forbid you have children, or a non existant spouse, school debts, regular debts, living in a crap shack and riding the bus for however many years. So really, it's not a whole matter of making yourself who you are, it's doing the best with your situation.
That and my example given before was a true one. High school kids do not have the option to get good paying jobs unless you're a god like Davie over there with his fancy shmancy office (*smirk*) and all. And when you're living on your own, going to high school and working 2 jobs just to be able to pay your rent and such...well, a free car would help immencely. And nobody said anything about welfare. Yeah, maybe a little bit of state medical help, but when your 17 and living in a shack with a 16 year old and you get hit by a car because you don't have the money for a car or even to ride the city bus every day and you have to walk all the way across town to get to school and some stupid 40 year old in a jeep wasn't paying attention to the stop sign...well...you need it. (And don't say it doesn't happen because that's a little exerpt from the book of Sam. Funnily enough dated September 11th 2002. All the nurses were asking me the date and didn't laugh when I said "Are you kidding, everyone knows what today is"). Anyway...yay for free cars. |xrmush| |posting guidelines|policy|search|
No, I probably can't help you. But I might be able to make you laugh and forget that you just nuked 16 hours of photoshop work. |
