I just had an interesting question I thought I'd ask you. What was your BBB 1st post? How have you grown since then? Did you use more "chat room" language then, and more....English language now? sorry to pick on some of you, but I just looked at some of the Veterans and see how they started, I tried to pick the funniest:

I just picked some random names there, I'll take the link off if you don't like it there.

What I did was went to http://www.bigblueball.com/forums/members.asp
then I searched for the name, clicked on it, clicked "find all non-archived posts by member". Then I find whatever post was updated longest ago, this doesnt always find the oldest one, though, but it's pretty close.

as far as I can tell, this might be my first one.... I dont remember though...

i'd imagine the mods or Jeff have access to that kind of information though

Here is the oldest post still in the database:

AIM 4.3 for Windows, dated 14 March, 2001. The key is the TOPIC_ID. I checked the database and TOPIC_ID=4 is the earliest topic still around. I don't remember what 1, 2 and 3 were about, but they're not around anymore.

I actually believe my firsts were in the non-existant Intro forum, but after that, it's really funny because my next oldest is from 9-9-2003 in a forum I haven't even visited once since then, Bots and Agents. Heheh, around that time everyone was talking about MSN room bots ,(which is funny wince Sir Sauciness just posted something about them again recently) so I went and posted a huge long thread about the basics of a bot, what I found worked the best and yadda yadda yadda. Jeff responded, but after that, I went poof for a while so I never got back to him on that... *flashes Jeff a grin* Heh sorry 'bout leaving you hanging, fellah.

But yeah...whoo...a forum I don't even go through anymore...how crazy. That's...pretty drastic! *blank stare* d-d-dear gods...did...did I use an EMOTE!?!?
