Cell Phone Hacking
Hey guys!
I read an article today online about Paris Hilton's cell phone getting hacked into, and all her famous celeb friends' phone numbers were posted online. Who knows if it's true or not. My question is, is it possible for your cell phone to be hacked? Has anyone heard of any other stories? ~*rae*~

yes it was true that her phonebook/email address(s) were hacked into and available to the public, a website i go to quite frequently had all of it up and posted including her phone book and everything but i just looked @ it like 5 mins ago and i read that he had to take it down because he had the FBI call him and they had a long discussion about the issue and all that good stuff so that was the only site i knew that it was on...but as of right now i dont think its online anymore....

Yeah I saw it on another site. Some of the guys there even got some phone numbers and called them. Like 2 days later or so when I saw it they were taken down for obvious reasons though. Pretty funny IMO.

I don't think it is funny at all. Just because some one is a celebrity (and somewhat annoying IMHO) does not mean that the rest of the world has a right to invade their privacy. It would not be so funny if it were your info and if people wanted to hound you and YOUR friends. Maybe there is bank info or something like that? Not cool and SOOOO not funny.

they allowed it for their own publicity. and i dont think u will find it funny if some one hacks ur cell phone and publishes the details on some website. would u?

Still giving away numbers
A local radio station in my area was giving aways numbers that was in address book. So far, no one has stop them.

afaik, it was a network problem that allowed it, i dont think it was via bluesnarfing. paris's stuff was accessed via her 'my' page on the t-mobile webstie.
