Do you actually read blogs?

So I was thinking the other day... with this many people into blogging these days, how many people actually take the time to read other people's blogs? All these people are so into writing their own blogs for the world to read, I'm wondering how many blogs ever really get read by people other than the author?

So my question to you is... how often (if ever) do you read blogs by other people?

As I was going down the stair, I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today; I wish I wish he'd go away.

Really, I only read a few people's blogs. There are so many that are just full of garbage that I don't bother, but folks I actually know on a more personal level...mmm-yeah I'll read them.

I read my sister's on a weekly basis just because it helps me keep in touch and gives me a kind of inside track on her thinking...which can be hard to get normally from a 16 year old girl, I tell you what. And I can't feel guilt over it because it's public already, not like I went and dug underneath her mattress to get to it.

And every so often, when I'm really bored I'll go and read random folks' blogs, just because it's worth it when you find that one blog that's written by some 14 year old who doesn't know how to put together a proper sentance *giggle*

But, I think the question more or less is that if you -care- if anyone reads your blog or not?

Really, I don't care if nobody reads mine, after all, I use mine as more of a place I rant every so often just because it helps me get over things. That and I use it as a place to mark down in time what happened, when, why, how, all of that. Hey, if other folks want to read my dribble, that fine...anything I don't want read I just Password Lock on my private journal. But I suppose some people actually care that nobody reads their blog *blink blink*

No, I probably can't help you.
But I might be able to make you laugh and forget that you just nuked 16 hours of photoshop work.

I read those of people I know when I'm online since nothing else online really interests me anymore. Internet is looking like satellite tv at times, so many channels and nothing interesting to watch. Anyway back to the point, yes I do read them, and no I don't care if people do not read mine. I just write to write because I love writing, whether it be nonsense, or taking any little situation and exaggerating it.

If people read my blog, that's great, but one of the biggest reasons I have a blog is to get things off my chest, and express what I'm feeling, or just talk about something like how my day was at the amusement park. I also like to tell the occasional joke or something funny.

When I'm bored, I'll surf other people's blogs, and if there's one I really like, I'll remember that one so I can go to it again. I like to hear what other people have to say.

I only read some of my friends blogs, the one that are funny. I would never read some randoms, unless it was particularly funny.

Yeah, once in a while I do. I don't keep one because, as I stated earlier, I just feel better when I myself actually take a pen and hand-write it. I check up on my friends at school once in a while.

I read Sam's a few times, but I don't know her that well to understand some of her situations that she writes about, so once in a while I might browse.

I read Anthony's a few times also, and his sometimes give me a good laugh. He is a beautiful writer, you should check out his work sometime

Other than that, not really.

I read my friends blogs, sometimes, even though they may be a little bit confusing to understand their situations. I don't have my own blog because I like to keep everything "locked-up" in my own head and get over a situation by myself. I also think it would be a little annoying to keep updating it... I'm a semi-lazy person...

I only read one friends' blog, and I don't have the motivation to keep my own.

Mr. Oats, sometimes it is not good to keep things to yourself. If you are ever struggling with a hard time, you may need to get it out, by writing or talking to someone. This could cause some serious problems.
